Concrete patios
for life outside.
A patio is an outdoor room. It should step easily from the house, drain properly, and give you somewhere comfortable to sit, cook or simply be outside.
Start a conversationA good patio starts with how you want to spend time outdoors.
We think about where the sun falls, where people will gather, how furniture fits and how the patio meets the house threshold. Small differences in level and fall make a big difference to how a space feels and how it handles rain.
The finish should suit bare feet as well as outdoor furniture. We discuss texture, colour and edges, and how the patio connects to paths, lawn and planting so it reads as part of the garden.
We work with homeowners across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter and Central Coast.

What to
think about.
- 01Threshold and levels
- How the patio meets doors and floor levels inside affects comfort and how water is kept out.
- 02Falls and runoff
- Gentle falls move water away from the house without making furniture feel uneven.
- 03Shade and structures
- If a roof, pergola or posts are planned, footings and layout need to be considered together.
- 04Surface comfort
- Texture and colour influence grip, glare and how warm the surface feels in summer.
- 05Garden connection
- Edges, steps and paths help the patio feel connected rather than dropped in.
From first call
to handover.
Every site is different, so steps can shift. This is the usual shape of the work. Timing depends on the scope, the site and the weather.

Worth
asking.
Have a question that is not here? Ask it in your enquiry.
Can the patio sit level with my floor inside?
A near-level threshold is often desirable, but water management at the door needs careful planning. We discuss options on site.
Which finish is best around a pool?
Areas likely to be wet and walked on barefoot need appropriate grip. We talk through suitable textures for your space.
Can you allow for a future pergola?
Yes, if you tell us early. Knowing where posts may go helps us plan the layout and avoid cutting into the slab later.
Will the patio get hot?
Lighter colours and some textures tend to feel cooler than darker surfaces. Shade also makes a significant difference.
